- Local Processing Only: Journal content is analyzed on your device using on-device AI technology
- Never Transmitted: Journal text never leaves your device or reaches our servers
- Never Stored: We do not store journal content in our databases
- Never Accessible: No human (our team, other users, or third parties) can access your journal
- Pattern Analysis: Only anonymized compatibility patterns (e.g., communication style scores) are transmitted for matching purposes
How Journal Analysis Works
When you write in your journal:
- Text is processed entirely on your device by local AI
- AI extracts compatibility patterns (e.g., "High emotional intelligence score: 8.2/10")
- Only these numeric patterns are sent to our servers for matching
- The original journal text is never transmitted or stored
- Patterns cannot be reverse-engineered to recreate journal content

- Pages viewed and features used
- Time spent on different sections
- Search queries
- Interaction patterns (clicks, swipes, etc.)
Device Information:
- Device type and model
- Operating system and version
